Olds promo film from ‘51. Martians are interested in the technological advances of humanity. As a result, they come to Earth to prevent mankind from landing on Mars with rockets but confusion between Olds’ namesake engine and the spacecraft it’s named after lead the Martians’ espionage to the Lansing, Michigan engine assembly plant instead.
I thought it was funny because it’s so cliche for the era.

Nothing really new. It’s the most reliable car in my family’s fleet despite being more than twice as old as I am and not having an easy life.
Some of my bondo work has decided to blister on me, which aggravates me. I have lead body solder to redo it with, I just need to bite down and get it done.
Intake manifold is seeping very slightly from the front, so I’m going to have to reseal that too.
Hopefully I haven’t jinxed myself by praising it.
